About Reach The Needy
Reach the Needy, Incorporated is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization aimed at serving the impoverished children in Malawi, especially orphans and young girls, with the goal of expanding globally in the future.
Our mission statement is to transform the rural communities in Malawi by providing education, healthcare, and basic needs such as clean water, nutrition, shoes and clothing to those in need, especially children.
What We Do
Basic Needs
We currently provide daily porridge to the students and clean drinking water. We also partner with local non-profit organizations who distribute clothing and shoes to the children.
Education
We have a free early childhood education center with 100+ registered students between the ages of 1-7 years including orphans and other vulnerable children. The goal is to expand into primary education.
Agriculture
We currently have a mega farm where we perform large scale farming as an income generating activity for the organization. We grow crops such as maize and ground nuts. The farm empowers the local community.
